Hello guys!
well. I've been playing diablo 2 for quite a while now. but recently i had to move and where I'm living at now, the latency i get from playing online it's so huge it gets unplayable.
I really want to play it again and Offline. but i'd like to have the Ladder Runewords in the single player game. Since Diablo has been running for quite a while now I think there is no problem for you guys to add these rune words to the offline gameplay.
I really don't want to mod diablo And I don't even know if it is possible to do it in Macbook version of diablo, but it would be nice to have the ladder rune words in offline game.

why the hell would you want to play vanilla diablo 2 singleplayer, you should be playing d2scrabble v5f , its hard to find on the internet but it's superfun you play it with 1.13 version of d2 with d2se and pluggy, pluggy gives each of your characters like 10000 personal stash pages, and 10000 shared stash pages, it's like having an infinite item bank, you would be shorting yourself if you play original d2 offline

Ladder on single player should of been a thing by now. Honestly I would like to LAN with my friends with Ladder characters. Knowing how often spam bots join games on battle.net this would make life easier on the eye's, rather to spam the 'N' button to clear screen in the heat of battle. Even if i put a level cap on the game they still have high level spam bots as well. They make it hard to avoid. If/When Ladder comes to single player I would love to do Uber mode with friends.

Are you using two separate shortcuts for two separate copies of the game, or do you use one shortcut to go straight to b.net and the other straight to sp?

Well, what can I say. some ppl like to go solo, that's where I fit in. And as stated here already. I'm tired of bots getting into my room and spamming the hell out of the game.

I really want to have this Pluggy but I'm not on the mood to bootcamp or instal a wrapper in my computer. So. I hope blizzard add the Ladder to the single player.
That would be awesome, not just for me.. but for a whole lot of solo adventurers out there. I mean. you can buy a Vex. Lo. Zod rune in multi. but, wouldn't you rather go after it yourself? That's what I love in this game!

I strongly agree with you, my friend! I don't know why, I paid for the same game but some formulas are not available simply because I don't play BN. Well maybe I shouldn't whine too much about that, after all it's a good game and the producer can do whatever he wants, but the problem is, some of the best rune words and items are reserved for Ladder, and they are extremely important for my Zealot! Without some of the items (Azurewrath) and rune words I simply cannot get through physical immunity and had to stop at Act I (because I must make countess runs to gather runes for my pathetic weapons and armors!).

Exactly, playing solo has been my style from the beginning of Blizzard games. Diablo 1, Diablo 2, Starcraft, I ONLY play single player campaigns. The thing is Blizzard made people play BN and Ladder by reserving the best items and rune words for Ladder. I wish I could use PlugY for 1.14, but alas I can't do that.

Ladder Unique items like Azurewrath Phase Blade are already available in Single Player without modifying the game, as are Ladder Horadric Cube recipes. However, Azurewrath requires level 85 to equip, and it's quite rare (not least because there's another Unique Phase Blade, Lightsabre: if monsters can drop both, then only 1/6 Unique Phase Blades will be Azurewrath).
Other than Ladder Rune Words, the World and Pandemonium Events are also Realm-only (but not restricted to the Ladder). PlugY attempts to replicate the Events in Single Player, but it's my understanding that Pandemonium's Tristram is not the same as the Realms as the three Prime Evils don't summon minions (possibly among other things: I don't know whether or not Baal uses Chilling Armour, for example).

Pls add the ladder for SP for Mac. I'm tired of looking for ways to 'cheat' my computer into the RWM :((((((

Revisiting this topic to check if Blizzard could give us any good news about the issue.
I've been playing D2 for so long now, always single player, and I still miss the online-only content, the runewords and pandemonium event.
And I refuse to use mods to bypass this, poor me huh
I mean, D3 is there, all and all. Time to run this long-waited improvement, right?
Could any support from Blizzard give us a comment about it?

with the new update, you can't downgrade the game if you install it with the blizzard installer
basically, you'll need a pirated version to play plugy, which goes against the point of buying an original copy

Do u really believe that Blizzard ever cared about feedback rather than money? The only thing this commercial machine cares is profitability.
U better leave it and play something else. 15 years this !@#$ remained not fixed. I see no reason to expect it to happen further.
